Spotify unlimited. Now free?

I read today that spotify is free to use. I did subscribe at £4.99 a month for spotify and still am paying for it but I am wondering if I can now get the same stuff for free. I am a bit confused

Spotify Unlimited removes advertising on the desktop and web player, as well as giving you unlimited travel/abroad time.

Spotify free and unlimited are now both available to be used on tablets and mobile devices. On these platforms, unlimited and free offer the same features (with advertising).
