Switch from premium family to basic family

Switch from premium family to basic family

I have read all the points about switching from premium family to basic family, basically just saving the cost of audiobooks that I never use. I still have not seen this question....

When I switch to basic family, is the switch completely seamless with my current family member just switched over with no issues? Or should I warn them that they will need to be re-added? I didn't want to do something one sided and make the rest of my family try to figure out signing out and back in again, mostly because it will be me doing all of it😊

Hey @12153310244,

Thanks for reaching out.

The existing members and set address will be carried over to the Basic plan if you decide to switch to it 🙂

I hope this helps!

Will the Basic Family plan allow me to download music to be able to listen to it when I offline?

Hey there @paulmama1

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community.

Yes, no worries, the only difference is that the Basic plan doesn't include the 15 hours of audiobooks access that you get with Premium, but you can enjoy other features like ad-free music listening, download to listen offline, high-quality audio, and on-demand listening.

Hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, or need a hand with anything else, just let us know.
