The password recovery page gives a 404

The password recovery page gives a 404

I've lost my password, so I go to the page for password recovery.

I received an e-mail with as link. (https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/recovery)

I clicked on the page and now I get a 404-page that the page does not exist.

What is wrong?

I've a premium account, so i have created a second account to get this message posted.

Hey @aart2

Try this link.

If you still have problems, you should try with a different browser, or open a private window (incognito mode), and see if that does it.

Also, try in a different device (computer, tablet, etc.)

Hope it helps. 🙂

Buy the link in the email links tot nowhere do ik cannot set a new password

Thanks for your help

Sorry, autocorrect makes a mess of my reply.

The link you've send is a link what sends an e-mail to you.

In that e-mail is a button with a link with an incorrect address.

The link should go to a page where you can set your new password.

Hey @aart2.

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you try to open the e-mail you receive in an incognito browsing session, or with a different device?

That should do the trick! Let us know if it doesn't or if you have further questions.

Have a nice day!
