Hello I have the same problem!! The only way to solved to me is installing an older version (spotify_installer-1.0.7.157.g2a6526f9-88) everytime! 😞

Hi!

I have the same problem here since the last update. No song is avalaible on my desktop version (Windows 7) but on iOS and with the Web Player everything is fine.

Hi,
Sorry for the up, but this topic is still unsolved and i got this issue too, if anyone has the solution ^^

I am having the same issue, i attached the log below.

And the commertial is working good. I have paid for premium so I am really pissed right now. Hope you will fix it soon.

I've been having a similar problem to the other replies. However, I should mention that spotify will only refuse to play the local files of one artist in my library (3 seperate mixtapes of his, one of which was downloaded a few weeks after the first two). But the tracks available to stream regualrly on spotify under this artist's name all work fine. I've also downloaded music since I first noticed this problem from a different artist and it also works perfectly fine.

THNKS ! It works

It doesn't work for me but I can't play any song regardless if it's local or not. I can play them via Spotify Web Player but not using the desktop app. And it works on my mobile phone and on the second computer so I guess the isssue here is concerning the specific pc. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem I've just followed this step

Most of the time the issue is caused by the playback device. You can check if there are any devices available. Open CMD and execute the following command :

control mmsys.cpl sounds

That just opens sound options, what next???

Same here, this problema sucks, um Premium and cant play nothing!

I'm still having thie issue. Plays perfectly through play.spotify.com but not through the software. I've re-installed the software and same issue. I'm also not connected to any other devices.

Has anything been resolved?

I have the same problem in Spotify for Linux, I have Ubuntu 16. Anything works, the same message appears again and again.

This worked beautifully, thank you
