This username or password is incorrect. (error code: 3)

Hello everyone. I am a premium Spotify user.

Yesterday at mid day I was auto logged out from my spotify. This morning I've tried logging back into it and it gives me this message:

This username or password is incorrect. (error code: 3)

My account is not connected to my facebook and I am typing in the correct password. I've tried using my email as my username, and also my username. I've also tried typing in the first part of my Email address (before the @) as my username like some threads on this subject suggest. Still no success.

I've logged onto my old account which is connected to my Facebook and can find my main account when I search for it in the search bar.

I have tried resetting my password by typing in my username and it says: A message has been sent to you by email with instructions on how to reset your password. But when I check my Emails, no Email from Spotify has been sent.

Any ideas please help!

You can check your account's username at https://spotify.com/account 🙂 Try logging in with it and your password.
