Trying to merge accounts to duo premium

After replacing a stolen credit card, I forgot to update payment info in time, so my account reverted to Free status. As I was about to setup new payment info, I realized it's cheaper to have my partner upgrade his Premium account to Duo Premium and merge my account to his, but I don't know if thats possible/ how to go about that. Has anyone done this before?

Thanks for reaching out.

"Merging" the accounts isn't how the Duo plan works. Both of you must still use your own separate accounts, but the plan will allow you to both have Premium for a reduced price. Your husband just has to change his plan to Duo (or you can do it as well if you want to be the manager of the plan, that's up to the two of you to decide). After a Duo plan has been established, the manager of that plan (whoever subscribed for it) has to invite the other user as shown here. When the invitation is successfully accepted, you will both have Premium again.
