Want to cancel subscription, with few account details

Essentially, I've **bleep**ed it pretty badly and just want to completely start afresh with spotify. My main spotify account is premium and I want to cancel the service for that account - only problem is, the email and facebook accounts which were connected to that account are both long deleted. I do not care for recovering the account I just want to stop being charged and pay for a new spotify account. I know the account number, possible password - but I do not have access to the previously connected facebook or email account. Where do I start? Cheers

Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for posting!

Knowing that you cannot access your account anymore, I suggest that you be in touch with the Customer Support to get help on it. Probably they'll ask for receipts to confirm the account is yours, so be ready. Follow these steps below:

1. Go to the Customer Support page here
2. Select the option"Subscription"
3. Select the option "I want to cancel my Premium subscription and switch Spotify's free service"
4. Tap "I still need help" button.
5. Fill the form and then you be guided to a chat page.

I also suggest that you ask them that your old account be closed permanently.
