can't get student discount

hey,

just found out about the student discount. right now i subscribed for spotify premium and pay 9,99€ a month. but i can get the 50% student discount. 

so i let spotify sent me the activation link to my mail, which i got from my university. if i click on that link, it dosen't work. it say's, that i'm unable to get the discount. but why? i'm enrolled in my university and i'm studying right now.

does anyone of you guys had the same or similar issues ?

yes, it wasn't easy but i hope i'll work. the hole process is not done yet.
i had to delete my account, create a new one, now they have to copy my old data to my new account and after that i can get the discount. complicated but i hope it'll work=)
