My Question or Issue

I entered my credit card for $9.99 for three months.

I went ahead and got myself two gift cards with cash because I want to pay ahead for the following months after my free session expires so my credit card will not be charged. When I try to redeem the gift card, it implies that I can not get my three months free if I use the gift card.  Is there a way I can see if the gift cards have posted to my account? I don't want to wait three months to enter these gift cards. I will lose them in the mean time.

As stated in this support article, Spotify gift cards are not redeemable together with other discounts or promotions, such as Premium Family, Premium Students, or trial offers. This explains why you're getting that error message.

In that case, I'd recommend waiting a few days before your trial period ends to redeem your gift card here.
