Ok, they are two different things.

The Premium services is when you paid, so you can listen to any track you want on any portable device, download songs for listening when you are offline, choose which sound quality you prefer...

Family plan is when you paid that premium service for a relative that lives in the same country, so you register their account to your family plan to make premium services available for them.

Spotify connect let's you see which devices are using your spotify account. For instance, I'm logged in with my phone and my pc and with spotify connect I can see both of them and choose which one you want to play your music.

Thanks

How do i see the price for the family under upgrade it does not appera.

Also for the devices it just says andriod so i am not sure which devices(phones) have it.

What I am ultimatly looking to do is allow my daughter and wife the ability to use thier phones and facebook for spotify.

Hey there @thomlarsen!

So you'll need a separate account for each user as the terms and conditions only allow a Spotify account to be used for one individual. If your daughter and wife don't have a Spotify account of their own, create one one for them using their own e-mail addresses here. When their accounts are created they can then link their Facebook accounts to their Spotify account in their account overview. Once all those accounts are made and set-up, login with account that you want to manage the family plan and head over to the Family Plan page. Since you only need just you and and two other family members select "Me + 2 family members" which will be a total of $19.99/month (pricing varies between countries/currencies). Once the payment is processed you'll be able to add the accounts by inviting them to your plan which will send them an e-mail once selected. You then have to go into those e-mails and click those links to get attached. After that, you are all set!

Those accounts can be logged into as many different clients at the same time, but now they can only have one stream at a time per account and can only have a maximum of three devices that hold music for offline use. For more information on listening offline view this link here.

Let me know if you have any further questions! 🙂

If your case is resolved, please click the 'Accept as Solution' button and add your kudos!

Thomlarsen, you can see the prices in this link https://www.spotify.com/family/

Well for those two, you need to create a spotifyaccount for them. You can already do that, and they can test the free version meanwhile. Alfterwards you can go to the family plan option and purchase the premium services for them.

About spotify connect, maybe you can post a screenshot to see what's going on...
