Hey @elbergman,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Are you trying to start a new subscription? Or are trying to change plans and/or your payment method?

Are there any error messages displayed on your Account overview page? If not, please share a screenshot of the issue/error message you're getting on another page.

Additionally, you can also log out and log back in to see if the issue persists.

Looking forward to your reply 🙂

I am trying to link payment to a new account in order to pay for a premium subscription in Turkey. Not a single card passes. screenshot in attachment

You should hide the second half of your credit card number...

Are you physically in Turkey right now while attempting to make the payment? Spotify's credit card processor might be blocking the payment for fraud-prevention reasons if you're paying with a Turkish credit card while connected to the internet from a different country.

Or, if you're paying for Spotify Premium in Turkish Lira but your account is registered to another country Spotify themself might be blocking you, if they think you are only trying to get a cheaper subscription.

Yes, I am physically in Turkey and not a single card passes. Perhaps this is spotify blocking payment from Turkish cards? This problem was already observed in May, then the card was attached

Hey @elbergman ,

I recommend that you're not using any kind of VPN/Proxy (as these aren't supported by Spotify) and then try it again at www.spotify.com/tr-en/premium/.

I don't use any vpn. Without vpn from Turkey, do not pay for a subscription with any card for 2 days

Alright, @elbergman, and your country setting is also set to Turkey? This can be checked at https://spotify.com/account.

yes, Türkiye is everywhere

Does Spotify sell physical gift cards in Turkey? If so you can buy from a local store and not have to worry about the payment being declined. I would email Spotify to ask if they have authorized gift card sellers in Turkey.

Hey @elbergman ,

Thanks for letting me know.

I recommend making sure that your card is open for foreign, recurring and online payments, and that you have set up a 2-factor authentication (for your card). 🙂

If the payment issue persists, I recommend waiting 48 hours and then trying it again.
