using Spotify with VPN other country

Hi Everyone,

I'm French and I'm living now in Argentina. I have signed up for premium account with an argentinian credit card. Now, I wanna use a VPN to simulate a connection in France all the time.

Will Spotify ask me to sign for a French plan if I use a VPN simulating always a French connection or should I remain in an argentinan connection so they won't ask me to pay with a French card?

Spotify doesn't officially support the use of a VPN while using their services. To have a smooth experience, it's recommended not to use a VPN while using Spotify.

Thanks for your answer. My VPN works perfectly with Spotify. It wasn't my question.

As I'm using a VPN to connect using a French connection but living in Argentina, I'm just wondering if Spotify will asks me to set a French credit card instead of my actual plan that is being paid in Argentina.

Got it! Sorry for any confusion.

Since the country of your payment method must match the country registered on your account, Spotify won't allow you to continue to purchase Premium if the payment method is based in a different country than the one you're currently in.

I have the country set in Argentina and the credit car I'm using to pay my plan is Argentinian too. I should have no problem from that.

It's good to hear that everything is working fine with the VPN at the moment. However, keep in mind that if you experience any issues in the future, it could be related to the fact that we don't officially support them.
