[Android 4.4] Spotify doesnt load images

Hey guys,
I have a problem. My spotify doesnt load any images anymore. No single covers, not in 'Discover', nowhere...

What to do? Im using the nexus 5 with android 4.4, wifi and 3g connections are ok.

Same problem on my Nexus 5 on 4.4 Stock. Hope Spotify will fix it soon. But it's no Spotify-specific problem as I'm experiencing this issue also in other apps.

Seriously....it is time for an app update, Spotify.  This is most inconvenient .  I know its a first world problem, but ME LIKES MY ALBUM ART.  (rdio artwork works fine btw).

I left feedback on Google play yesterday and they said it was am un known issues and that they had not herd of it so I really hope they have heard of it now and fix it asap, I also have issue with skip button, it disappears sometimes while I look even, I can press it once and then boom, it's gone

I can confirm that no images are loading in KitKat. Had similar issues before were i disabled a ton of ca's on 4.3. Maybe your image Server is not trustworthy anymore because they removed some certificates?

Since I haven't found a way to go to the previous of next track while my screen is locked (like holding volume up for example). 

I have to press the lock button to get the lock screen where the previous/play/next button are located. 

Whenever I press the next button a few random times, sometimes the previous/next button dissapear. Either I have to pause the track or lock the screen again for them to come back. 

Any idea's?

@st3rv1s I moved your post into the relevant topic. As you'll see, you're not alone with graphics rendering issues on android 4.4. Spotify is aware and we're all waiting for a fix.

About the 'issue' of going through tracks.. is this a KitKat issue aswell? 

Would love to be able just to hold the volume up for next and down for previous while screen is locked.

its because the crappy spotify developers havent patched spotify for kit kat 4.4, unlike rdio which did 😕 im disapointed at spotify developers, i mean it cant be that hard to patch right? its just album artwork and skip buttons
