My Question or Issue
I have a Samsung A52s 5G with Android 11 and i'm using Android Auto wirelessly on a Kia Infotainment.
The problem is that I get random mini skips (like old scratched CD), a couple for every song.
I've tried till now to remove battery optimization for both Spotify and Android Auto.
Hey there @Pizzadeliver,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community, and welcome 🙂
We'd first recommend making sure that Android Auto is fully up to date.
If possible, you could also try reinstalling the app on Android Auto to see if it makes any difference.
Keep us posted on how it goes.
Hey @Pizzadeliver,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Would you mind sending over a video where we can take a better look at this behavior?
You can send a link to it or attach it using the Insert Video option in the post editor.
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
I havent seen any recent posts on the subject so I guess I'll just post here. I'm on a Galaxy Note 20 5g and I'm having this skipping like a scratched CD issue. I've tried every solution from power management to uninstalling. Some help would be greatly appreciated
Hi there @BaronBlack1,
Welcome to the Spotify Community!
Just to confirm, are you also using Android Auto in your car or does the issue occur also when you're listening directly on your phone? Is it with specific songs or with all content in general?
I'd recommend changing the Bluetooth codec in your phone's settings to see if that helps. There's a detailed guide on how to do that here. If possible, it's also worth connecting to another Bluetooth device to see if the issue would occur there.
You can also try some of the troubleshooting suggested in this thread, if you haven't already.
Let us know how it goes 👍
