[Android][Playlists] Hiding Content in 2021

I've been trying to figure out how to do this for a while, but how do you hide content in Spotify across all playlists?

Every source that I've found for hiding content is either for a single playlist or is outdated, as the methods that are shown in them no longer work and the UI that is shown is outdated. Somehow I've been able to hide content before as shown in this screenshot of my current Spotify, but that was most likely done in a previous version of Spotify.

If it helps, my Spotify is on the newest version of Spotify on Android.

You can only block songs if you're a free user for some dumb reason.

To hide artists on Spotify, just go to the artist page, tap on the 3 dots on the top right corner > Don't play this.

To hide songs on a playlist, tap on the 3 dots next to the song's title > Hide this song.

In case you hide a song by accident, just follow the steps in this article to undo it.

This option is for both Premium and free users.

We know about the option to hide a song. Like op said, that only hides the song in that specific playlist. Only free users are able to block songs completely from the platform.

This clears up some queries, but not all.

Even though it is possible to hide a song in a singular playlist, is it possible to do so on all playlists? And if so, is this feature for premium or free users only?

At the moment, it isn't possible to hide a specific song from all playlists. 

However, other users also think this would be a good idea. In this case, you can add your +VOTE and Subscribe to this thread. That way you can stay up-to-date with any relevant news about this.
