Android app downloading EVERYTHING!

Android app downloading EVERYTHING!

Hello, I've been using spotify premium on my galaxy note 2 for years now but my phone memory is full of spotify albums and the phone is becoming unusable.  I thought this would be easy to fix so I went into the app and deselected the 'available offline' option on a few albums.  I don't want to delete albums as I stream most music in work and I like to have a lot of music to choose from, but even when an album is deselected as available offline it still plays even when all data and wifi are turned off, so basically my spotify downloads any album that I save to my phone regardless off whether or not I say I want to download it.  This is fine if you have infinite storage but i only have about 8 Gigs to play with.

Am I missing something?  I don't want to have to remove the whole lot and start again and I'm not even certain this would fix the issue.  I've done some searching and I haven't seen anyone else with this problem.  I would appreciate any help anyone could offer.  Thanks.

Have you tried a clean reinstallation of the application?

Give this a shot and let us know if it works. Cheers!
