Android app skipping every other song

This only seemed to happen since the last update - on my Android app (Galaxy S2) Spotify plays one song then always skips the next, so I can only listen to every other song unless I manually go back.

This is very frustrating as I can never just let a full album run by itself.

I have gone through the troubleshooting steps , i.e. deleting the files and the app and reinstalled it but no joy.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

A work-around is to queue the album you wish to listen to. It then plays in the correct order from the queue.

Has there been a solution to this problem? I'm got this. I'm using ZTE blade 3 and unlimited version.

Doesn't look that way, it happens to me as well but only when I'm playing it in my car via bluetooth...
