Annoying cache issue

Im on a Motorola G4 and experience issues with the spotify caching of files.

Sometimes even though specified to cache to sd-card, it starts caching on my system "disk" and I get a message that my system partition is almost full.

When I look in Spotify it looks correct(caches to sdcard) but when I clear all settings and cache a lot of space on my system disk is freed up.

Spotify covertly stores cache on system partition...
