Can't delete offline songs

Hi guys,

This is a 2 part problem

1. For some reason when I save an album it automatically starts to download.

2. When I toggle the download button on and off the songs never get deleted. I know this because the songs will still have the green icon in front of them and also when i put the phone on airplane mode i can still listen to these songs. Its been like this for months now.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've added a screenshot as a visual aid.

First check that the 'Download' toggle isn't switched on in 'My Music - Songs'.

As for the non-deletion of files, this is something the developers are aware of. Currently the cache is only deleted when the storage capacity reaches 10% free space. This is an issue I've highlighted and I believe they have it on the roadmap to correct at some point.

Wow, the download toggle was switched on for my songs! Thanks so much for
this, the green icon has dissapeared for a lot of the songs! I will watch
to see if the amount of free space becomes more on my phone! thanks 🙂
