Hi there, @flxkkpsychdl,

Thanks for reaching out!

I'm afraid this isn't possible on the mobile app yet, but it sounds like an awesome idea, so feel free to submit it on our Idea Exchange board. Others can then show their support and give it a thumbs up + share their feedback.

On the desktop app though, you can use the following workaround:

  1. Open the queue and switch to the Recently played tab.
  2. Select the first song from the top.
  3. Scroll all the way down to the bottom, hold the Shift key and click on the last song - this will select all tracks in between.
  4. Right-click and choose Add to playlist > New playlist.

Hope this info was useful! The Community is here if there's anything else you need assistance with 🙂

Here is another solution.
I wanted to save the tracks from a particularly well put together Daily Mix but the desktop app solution didn't work for me because my recently played tracks from the iPhone app don't show up in either desktop or open.spotify.com. Also the daily mix content changes so I couldn't use that for a source.

However I found a way via the android app. The tracks do show up there for some reason. The trick is to start playing the topmost of the tracks you want to save, then the rest of 'Recent' is automatically added to the Queue. You can then select multiple tracks from the Queue in the desktop app or wherever you like and save it to a playlist normally.

Note: in the iPhone app this does not work because only the track that is playing is added to the Queue. Why this difference exists, is the next question.. as well as: why played songs from the daily mix on iPhone do not show on desktop/open but they do on Android..🤔
