Equalizer using spotify connect

Why isn't there a feature to use equalizer with spotify connect via gramofon player?

I have a klipsch stadium and I need the function to tone down the base so that the neighbours doesn't have to pick up broken cups and dishes.

I don't see how that would be possible as the music streams from spotify to the gramafon direct then to your hifi. The gramafon doesn't offer an equalizer so you'll need to control putput frpm your amplifier.
