Galaxy S9+ Crashes when using Spotify app

My Question or Issue

Whenever I open Spotify on my phone I can use it fine until my screen timesout. Then when I try to turn my screen back on it goes black, flahes, and then restarts itself. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Spotify app multiple times, cleared the device cache, etc with no luck.

I've been experiencing this issue since the beginning of this year. It's a really frustrating problem.

There's no consisten reason I can identify which is causing it. I can have lots of apps open or have only Spotify open and it will crash.
