My Question or Issue
I have recently moved to Premium, and something I have liked is the synced lyrics option. But I cannot help but notice that there are some songs that either have a wrong lyric line here and there, show the line incomplete or even have completely wrong lyrics attached to them.
One example of this is https://open.spotify.com/track/0CCTxJDIasYNAnMOWNZvbX?si=-Hd4-tRWTsGAhCoX4uXsGw where the song, interpreted in this musical, has lyrics that are different from the original Radio Gaga song by Queen. Yet the lyrics it shows and the times it uses to show them are based on the original song, not the musical one that is actually playing.
My Question is: Is there any way to either report when this happens or even better to submit the change myself? That'd really be worth it in my opinion.
Hey @Ratatosk,
Thanks for the post and for sharing this feedback with the Community!
We still recommend reaching out directly to Musixmatch about this, since they're the ones who can update the lyrics.
Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to reach out again.
Actually, "these steps" does not help us report incorrect lyrics. What the steps indicate is the following:
If it’s not a technical issue or you’d like to report untagged explicit lyrics, contact us.
What I'm trying to do is report incorrect lyrics. And there's nothing in "these steps" that indicates how to do that. Unless I'm missing it.
Hi. I'm on my Mac Desktop. I listened to a Streisand song "The Main Event." I followed the lyrics. There are a number of errors. I did what you suggest. I scroll to the bottom, and I mean the very bottom of the page. I see nothing that says "Licensed & Provided," so I have no idea how to confirm if it's "Musixmatch" or not.
I would love to be able to report the incorrect lyrics if I knew how.
I'm going to follow you. I attempted to find a solution, but I could not even access the "song page" on Musixmatch unless I became a pro member. That is insane. All I want to do is report an incorrect lyric. For organizations that are supposed to care about their products (and which would not exist without them), there should be a simpler and clearer way to report an incorrect lyric.
But I told Musixmatch about an incorrect lyric, and they fixed it, but it's still not updated on Spotify?

My Question or Issue
Hi, i have noticed, that on the song ''Ivy'' By Frank Ocean, there are a few words missing, that you can hear, but that aren't in the lyrics.
This can be found at: 0:57 - 1:02. The lyrics shown say -
''We'd drive to Syd's, had the back then''
But if you listen to what is being said when these lyrics are being displayed, you can hear - ''We'd drive to Syd's, had the ''X 6'' back then'' (I could have heard wrong, but it sounds like he is saying ''X 6'' in there)
Perhaps Spotify could contact Musixmatch, the provider of lyrics for Spotify, to see if there is an error on their end, or if it is intentional.
Now I can not know for sure, if this was intended by Frank Ocean, or if there is some error here. So please keep that in mind.
There is no easy way to report this. Why is it so hard??????????? :(((( world class with wiz khalifa says, “my rollie face filled with karats” yet the lyrics say, “my rolling face filled with karats” what sense does this even make???
la canción es "RADIO" de Henry, la canción es en coreano e inglés, pero la letra esta en chino e inglés, y algunas partes no coinciden con lo que dice la canción
I was listening to that song and I noticed that the lyrics are incomplete and unfinished.

They could have changed the lyrics to this:
How does that get fixed on Spotify?
This song is showing unfinished lyrics. I was looking at the lyrics for this song and I noticed is that it is showing very few lines.

Lyrics not played correctly. Error licensed and provided by musixmatch.
La letra de la canción don't go away de Oasis dice : And i wanna be there when you're coming down, o I don't wanna be there when.......?. En plataforma como Genius que tiene prestigio dice "and i wanna" y en otras plataformas dice " i don't wanna" pero si escuchas la canción realmente dice "and i wanna ' y no sé porque pusieron i don't wanna, es una de mis canciones favoritas y tengo problemas con la letra.
Can somebody change the lyrics in "It's Over" by ken Carson to "I beat the pack out" instead of "i beat your pack out"
