Issues sharing Spotify Canvas to Instagram Story

My Question or Issue

I'm having issues when sharing a song to instagram stories, it shows on the Spotify app but when I try to post it to my Instagram Story it doesn't show the canvas, only the artwork and the name of the song on a solid background. I've cleared the cache on both apps and have also uninstalled/installed both apps, the issue persists. I've attached a short video of the issue

It's like an on and off thing for me. Sometimes the video canvas is gone, sometimes it's there. I don't know what triggers it. I'm on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 17.0.3.

Whoever has the sound when they share a song to IG stories (it is automatically added to the story) the canvas is not working for those people. My guess is that this is becuase in that case there's sort of a sound wave effect coming from the bottom of the screen so canvas can't work. Too bad we can't choose if we want canvas or the sound.

It's also unbelivable how all of these big companies are completely deaf to customer feedback in cases like this. The bigger the user base the more deaf the company is to customer feedback and that's just sad.

I have 2 IG accounts. One has that sound wave effect with the song playing and another doesn't. Video canvas doesn't work for both.

just saw the latest release of the spotify on AppStore since 2 weeks. and ofcourse it's not fixed. what a joke company this is. it's been what, like 2 months?

I've never seen this feature working once.

I'm using iPhone 12, iOS 16.6.1. Spotify version 8.8.82.607.
