Why does the Spotify app need access to my photos, in order to access my music?

Hello @odellkevin,

 

Thanks for reaching out, For some functions such as adding playlist covers, scanning Spotify Codes and more, the app does require access to the photos and camera. This isn't anything unexpected 🙂

This recommended playlist appeared this morning with an image that I absolutely don’t want on it. There’s no option to remove it and I am very troubled that Spotify has access to my photos.
