Poor sound quality while extreme is on

Hello everybody,

I've been experiencing this problem for a few days now. Simply stated: when I listen to music (streaming/dowlnoaded) I always hear about 1 second/0.5 second extreme quality, and then it hops over to very poor quality (while extreme quality is still on, with streaming AND downloading). Multiple times I've deleted spotify and reïnstalled it, but that doesn't seem to cure the problem.. I've got no idea anymore how to fix this, so please help!
