Hi there @Pineee,

Thanks for posting on the Community and for sharing that video with us.

You mentioned that you already reinstalled the app, but could you also try clearing the cache directly from within Spotify's settings (when it's corrupted, it can cause performance issues)?

Since this glitch only happens when Reduce Animation is turned off, the issue could be caused by the phone's system animations conflicting with Spotify’s moving video backgrounds. To try and reset this, consider going over the following steps:

  • Go to Spotify's Settings.
  • Scroll to Content and display.
  • Turn off the toggles for Music videos, Canvas, and Other videos.
  • Close the Spotify app completely.
  • Reopen the app, turn those settings back on, and then restart the app one more time.

Could you also send us the exact Spotify-version that you're using?

Keep us posted and we're here if anything else comes up in the meantime.

Thank you ivelina for the solution, i already following the steps and it seems not working but i think its because the phone system. I tried to change the gesture with button and its normal to the bottom of the screen no bug and i dont know this happen only on spotify app and reduce animation is turned off, but i find something in music that has a canvas video the bug not shows (only the album cover and the glitch shows)

Spotify version 9.1.58.1567

I send the video for comparison

Thank you for the quick response @Pineee!

We really appreciate you sharing the video and including your workaround of switching from gesture navigation to bottom buttons. This will be incredibly helpful for any other users who may come across this thread with the same issue.

What you're experiencing with the screen flickering is actually a known issue that the relevant team is currently investigating. We've passed your device details over to them to assist with their investigation, but we're unfortunately not able to provide an ETA for a fix just yet.

Once again, thank you for all of the shared info and we're just a post away if there's anything else we can assist you with.

Take care!
