Shuffle keeps turning itself off

My Question or Issue

Whenever I select a new song/playlist or connect to Bluetooth with the app open, shuffle turns itself off and I have to turn it back on manually. It also sometimes (but not always) does this if I exit the app, come back and resume the song that I was last playing.

Thank you for the info you've provided, we appreciate it!

We've passed this on to our tech folks and rest assured this will remain on their radar, but we're unable to provide an ETA for a fix at the moment. In the meantime, make sure you're always running the latest version of Spotify so you don't miss out on any updates.

I know there are numerous posts about this issue, but I've tried everything that has been listed that I have seen and am still having issues.

For a few months now my shuffle button ceases to work. If I tap it, it stays green for about 2 seconds and then greys out. It only seems to work if I am at home connected to my home network and that's not all the time either.

A few days ago, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it worked for a day, the next day it quit working again. Offline access is on, I've cleared the cache, logged out then back in, etc. 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
