Shuffled Queue is Rewinding Between Sessions

I have a playlist with 2,500 songs that I like to leave shuffled and listen to across multiple sessions, however, lately it's been losing my spot in the queue and starting each session 10~20 songs prior to where I stopped. At first I thought it was an issue with the newest shuffle setting, "less repeats", but even after turning that off the issue persists. It even happens in Offline Mode. I wish I had more detailed information, but what I do know is each time I listen multiple memorable tracks from the prior listen are in the first ~20 tracks and after skipping that section of the queue I have no issue.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We'd suggest you perform a clean reinstall of the app. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the stored cache is not leading to this behavior. You can follow these steps to do it.

Note: Be aware that clean reinstalling the app will delete all the content you've downloaded to listen to offline.

If the above doesn't do the trick, we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us:

• The exact Spotify version you're running.
• Does this happen when doing the same on other of your playlists?
• Did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update?
• Some screenshots in which we see the last tracks played before you stop a session and the queue once you start a new one.
