My Question or Issue

One specific podcast I follow (Baywatch Berlin) is sorted wrong from old to new on Android Auto and Spotify web only.

On the Desktop app and on my phone I have it sorted from new to old, which works fine.

I already reinstalled/deleted data/cache for spotify and Android Auto and even after switching my phone, the problem still persists.

Could you please have a look why I have this problem? With several hundered episodes I basically cant listen to that podcast in my car unless I use my phone which is dangerous.

Hi there @Natschlaus,

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be glad to help you enjoy your podcasts.

When you said you "switched your phone", do you mean that the same happens on Android Auto even with a different device connected? If possible, could you log in with a different account, check out the same podcast and see if the issue persists? You can use the account of someone you know or make one yourself.

Let us know how it goes.

Yes, I switched from a S24 Ultra to the S26 Ultra and set the app up fresh.

I just created a new account and logged in on edge in incognito mode (so it doesnt have cookies) and it still shows that particular podcast sorted from old to new (same with original acc).

I also freshly installed firefox and even there its sorted old to new.

I also just asked another person and for them it also sorts from old to new in the desktop browser app.

So somehow it seems to be the server sided setting or this particular podcast sorting!?
