Spotify 8.5.68.904 not launching on Pixel Android 10

My Question or Issue
This started today. When I launch the app, I get the logo and a couple seconds later it goes back to my home screen, and the app never starts. I tried reinstalling it as well. Have installed a previous version (latest I could find is 8.5.66.1002 on spotify.en.uptodown.com) and that works.

A reinstall usually does the trick in such situations, so nice job with trying this first! However, we suggest trying a clean reinstall instead of the regular one by following the steps here. This way you'll make sure no leftover files remain on the device. If you're using Windows, you should also check the hosts file. 

We also recommend always keeping the app up to date and downloading it only from official sources such as our website or the PlayStore.
