Spotify Randomly Pausing + Not Remaining Paused When Unplugging AUX Cord

My Question or Issue

This didn't happen at first with my device, but does now eventually no matter what. As the title states, it will pause randomly while playing. Also will not remain paused with I unplug the AUX cord from it, and just keeps playing on the phones speakers. 

The frustrating part about this is that I will uninstall / install Spotify, and the problem goes away... but comes back regardless after 3 weeks to a month. I have to continually reinstall all of my 3000+ songs onto my device every time. Absolutely horrible. 

This issue doesn't happen with any other app, only Spotify. Have you encountered anyone else with this issue?
