I don't think this is accurate, at least in my case, I had 25 GB of downloads on my sd card, Samsung Galaxy J3, and I noticed that the download green arrow was off on all of my downloaded albums, and noticed that it deleted about 13 GB on my sd card ... how is Tidal, thinking of making a switch! Spotify is so buggy, I don't understand why they are ranked so highly among musical streaming services.
Don't forget SoundCloud Go.
There is a lot of underground music right there.
Maybe more than Spotify.
Why wouldn't they fix it it's **bleep**ing annoying
I've done this twice already and my songs that were downloaded for offline keep being taken off of downloaded. I'm getting very tired of having to re-download every song (about 3,000) whenever the app decides not to keep it. Could you guys fix it?
I've done this TWICE now and it's getting very annoying. It takes about an hour or more to re download the songs that were supposed to have been already downloaded. Is there anyway you guys can fix this mess? It's getting very annoying to keep doing this
Frustrating. I'm on a limited data plan and I frequently use large data chunks because I think I'm listening to my downloaded list before noticing spotify has decided to delete my music without telling me. This is a dealbreaker. Fix it.
Can we download music from soundcloud?
Same here. Driving me nuts!
Having the same issue. Changed my phone, reinstalled, nothing seems to work! Should hire more people to fix things faster.
I'm probably going to stop my apotSpo premium because of this. It happened recently. And because this happened it redownloades the same music in a few days. I had WiFi off. I had download using cellular put on at one point to get a few songs in poor connection areas. But when back in good reception areas, it used all of my data. 10gb. In two days... Costing me $20. F u Spotify. Was even thinking about putting $in your IPO but given how many people have this issue and how crappy your solution is, I'm soon gonna drop yo a$$
LOL why is the solution, and I'm paraphrasing; "there's nowhere else to go"?
This is the 3rd time in 4 months I've had to re-download all of my downloaded albums. My downloaded songs and playlists stay saved but none of my albums; which is a pain considering the amount of albums I've downloaded. I've cleared the cache, reinstalled the app with no progress.
I don't think I have it as bad as others as I've noticed them saying ALL of their downloaded music disappears so I've been lucky in that regard. Has Spotify actually labeled this issue as solved?
No fix after 2 years, family plan, I'm leaving soon, other apps are more reliable than this **bleep**, I don't understand how is it possible that you are #1 in the world.
Remember BlackBerry and Nokia and Blockbuster, If you rest at the top, someone will kill you soon.
