Spotify starts automatically after being force stopped

My Question or Issue

For a long time I have force stopped Spotify on my phone to prevent it displaying persistent notification when I listen to music on PC. Now it seems that Spotify won't stay stopped but starts itself automatically. This is very annoying.

If you can't make it an option in Spotify Android to prevent that notification when using PC could you even make it obey the force stop.

(Disabling notifications for Spotify app isn't an option since I want to control the app from lock screen when I use it on the phone.)
