Spotify stops playing randomly, downloaded playlists disappear

Hello, I am having some issues with Spotify on my new Samsung Note. First, I have downloaded some of my playlists several times for offline listening. Shortly thereafter, they no longer appear to be downloaded to my device, although I can see that the data must exist due to the amount of storage Spotify is taking up.

Second, my Spotify stops playing midsong and can only be jumpstarted by switching songs. It appears that the song is playing (in play mode), but no music is playing and the timer is not advancing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 times now and am having the same problems. Can someone help?
