Spotify stops when in background

Spotify is stopping the músic by itself when the app is in the background in the middle of a song, neither playing the next, I need to open the app to press play again or going to the next song, power saving thing is dissabled.... any idea how to eliminate the issue?

If you're running a samsung phone with android 6, read this. Otherwise please post details of your phone and android version.

Have you tried to disable the batery saving mode??? I've seen it messes with spotify in some devices.
