search within playlist etc

hello, is it not possible to search within one's own playlists (and own local downloaded tracks)?

Nope - there's posts for thus in the ideas forum - perhaps if they get enough kudos spotify might realise its actually a good feature to develop

I am very sure this was a feature before the new version of Spotify for Android (the recent design overhaul).

So the question should problably be: Why was it removed?

The feature was great, and very often needed. I hope it returns!

If it was in the older client then It wasn't removed as such. Since the program was completely rewritten, it was never implemented to the new rewritten version.

If it wasn't - add the Kudos to the idea (search) and possibly it will be implemented.
