songs keep skipping

i have a coolpad legacy go and for some reason every song i play skips for a few seconds no matter what band i am listening to any ideas

Thanks for reaching out! 

Have you tried doing a clean reinstall? 

After that check this out:

1.  Mobile Settings> Apps> Spotify> Permissions. Allow everything you see there.
2. Mobile settings> Apps> Spotify> Battery> Optimize battery usage> select top All (not optimized for apps)> Spotify> disable.
