stuck in offline mode (OnePlus X)

Hi Community

Seems like the Spotify appy got stuck in offline mode on my OnePlus X. 

I switched it to OFFLINE for a 2 week trip to France, in order to be able to listen to some offline content without accidentaly getting into data roaming. 

At a certain point the Spotify App asks to sign in again (maybe because the phone has been switched to airplane mode first ?). When I enter my (correct) credentials, the app tells me to switch on the online mode - which I would be very happy to do, but I need to get in it first ...

I'm sure about the credentials, because in the meanwhile I've accessed my account over a windows PC.

Unfortunately the workaround in similar post in the community under

doesn't work for me.

Any ideas (except a full new install) ?

I can understand you are frustrated, unfortunately this issue exists for many years now 😞

Best thing to do is to reinstall Spotify or to go to Settings → Apps → Spotify → Storage → Clear storage.

Here is how to reinstall it:
