Shuffle

Whenever I play my playlist on shuffle I get the same 20 or so songs every time, I'm thinking there's an algorithm that just plays the songs you like vs playing songs randomly. it'd be nice if this is a feature we had the ability to turn off.

Same for me... But it's quite recent, probably since the last update. My Liked Songs playlist have +1,500 songs and shuffle always plays the same artists it's ridiculous and super annoying.

I've actually find a lot of topics about this... It seems that Spotify has a algorithm that makes the Shuffle mode not really random... I really don't understand the point and I definitely don't want to listen to the same songs over and over while my playlist has a lot of different kind of music. At least Spotify should let the user choose between activating a true shuffle mode or a """"enhanced"""" shuffle mode.

Have personal playlist of > 300 songs. Play shuffled in car, on Android phone, on TV app ... only a subset play. The songs are shuffled, but the same songs randomly play over and over, leaving what seems to be the majority of the playlist ignored.
