Hey everyone,
When I opened my spotify 2 days ago. All of my playlists and people I followed were gone, it was if I opened Spotify for the very first time again. I have been adding music to specific playlists for over a year now. is there any way that I can retrieve all of this?
Thomas.
Solved! Go to Solution.
It seems like you have two accounts in the system with the same login. Don't worry as this can be easly repaired! Just get in touch with the customer services team using the online contact form and they will be able to get this sorted out for you. If you get an automated reply directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly.
Hello, @thomashiwet! Do you have your account linked to Facebook? If so, try logging in with your Facebook credentials & standard username and password. Let me know if you can access your account now.
I have always used my facebook to work with Spotifiy, so nothing has changed there. I do not have a seperate FB and spotifiy login names and passwords. It's the same.

I've contacted them via this online form. Anything else I should do in the meantime?
Just be patient 🙂 Somebody from the team will get in touch with you within 48 hours.
I have the same problem. i have a spotify account over a year now , but today all my playlists are gone, I have no idea why, i didnt delete it. i logged into my spotify account on my ipad this morning, they're still there, but when i looked into the desktop one, all my playlist are gone, and then i checked the spotify on my ipad, they are gone as well. I'm suspecting a duplicated account, but i have no idea how to fix this. Thanks.
Hey everyone,
I have the same problem and used the form to contact spotify but nobody came back to me since 24th of September 2013:
So please can somebody take care of my problem.
Thanks
They also haven't got back in touch with me since my earliest e-mail 8(!) days ago!
What's going on?
Hello! Same case. Some of my playlists simply disappeared. "London" is one of them. Could i get them back please? This is not the first time. Thanks 🙂
Hey @adeladejuan 🙂
If its just a few of your playlists, fill in the form in the 3rd bullet point of the playlist recovery topic and a member of the Spotify team will try and restore them for you.

Hello!
I just changed my Facebook password and when I went to log in to Spotify with my new password, all my playlists were gone! I'm devastated! I have also lost all my followers and the playlists I followed. I tried logging in and out again and changing my password back. No luck! Can anyone help or explain why?

You just need to log back into the client using your Spotify username and password not your Facebook details. Full steps outlined in this post. 😉

Thank you! I tried to log in but it will only let me if I use my email address, which brings me to the same place. Not sure what to do! I'm not sure what my username is because I only ever sign in with facebook.
In that case get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they can look into this a little further for you.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
Alternatively, if you prefer support via Twitter, please tweet @SpotifyCares.

I have faced a similiar problem- My playlists have disappeared 😞 What is the most efficient way to deal w this problem?
Hey @rebeccagrl19 ! Welcome to the community 🙂
It sounds like you might have accidentally created and logged into a duplicate account.
Try following the steps outlined in this post and see if they can get you back into your original account. If not, there is a link in that post to get in touch with the Spotify team directly and they can lend a hand via email.
