Browsing an Artist

I enjoy getting to know new artists and I make generous use of Spotify's search function. When I want to get to know an artist, I want to be able to hear all of their songs; unfortunately, when I click the Artist to see their work, I am presented with five songs. The SEE MORE button presents me with five additional songs.

I want to see all of their songs!

I don't want to have to sift through albums or singles -- I just want one long list of an artist's songs. That shouldn't be so hard to do, but up until now, I haven't found any way to do it. What am I missing??

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

Unfortunately, at the moment there isn’t a way to see one list of all an artist’s songs via their artist page.

However, there are currently a couple of similar Live Ideas in the Idea Exchange, that you may be interested in voting for:

• This Live Idea for the mobile app to show all songs by an artist on their artist page (even though the current status of this idea is “Not Right Now”)
• This Live Idea for reinstating a full chronological artist discography for the desktop app, with all tracks listed out from each release

If either of these ideas sound of interest, I would recommend adding your +VOTE to them; the more votes an idea gets, the likelier it is that Spotify will implement it, and you can read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here.

I will upvote that idea right now, thank you! I have to admit, though, to being a bit mystified as to why this isn't an obvious part of the interface. I can't think of anything more fundamental to exploring artists than being able to listen to (all of) their songs.
