Unable to remove songs from collaborative playlist

I've been trying to remove songs from a collaborative playlist that I have with my friend, however I'm unable to do so. I am currently using the Spotify desktop app and I have followed/liked the playlist. Although I can click and see the "Remove from playlist" button, but whenever I click that, the song just pops back. Any idea on why this is happening?

I've also just had some of my collaborative playlists spammed by this artist "Pesukone". About 3 dozens songs added over night.

I have more than 300+ collaborative playlists. It is absolutely not a reasonable solution to recreate the playlists. Please provide a reasonable solution.

This is happening to me on a daily basis, all by the same spammers/"artists" as indicated by previous posts and examples. I'll remove songs, block and report the user/bot, but the next day it happens again. It's so very frustrating.

Solutions:

• Please provide the ability to make private collaborative playlists.
• Please provide the ability to report bot or spam accounts when reporting abuse of this kind, as there is currently no option to do this.

Exact same thing is happening to me, songs by Pesukone and Empty Elevator being added to my playlist by account names with 'Olivia' and 'Sophie' and there was another one. Very annoying , at least remove Pesukone and Empty Elevator completely from Spotify they are obviously behind this too to get listens and streams.

i’ve just had to remove well over 1000 of these bot-added songs from my various collaborative playlists. unfortunately didn’t think to save any profile links, but as with the rest of the replies here, they were all pesukone songs.

having to check all my collaborative playlists for these songs has now become a daily thing for me, and i’m getting increasingly frustrated that these ‘artists’ are still being allowed on spotify even though it’s blatantly obvious that all the bot issues are linked to them

I have had this happen s about once a week for the past couple months, and it is so frustrating, not only to have to delete the songs and make the playlist private, but also to have no way to report these bots as spam.  Same thing keeps happening to me with the same artists as well. It’s beyond irritating and very frustrating that I can’t report the accounts and artists as spam. And that blocking the artist/accounts don’t work.

This is a big problem. I've made a playlist for my friendgroup and all of the sudden a lot of Pesukone and Songbot tracks were added. I took the time to delete the tracks but they keep on coming back. Different bot accounts are used to do this. When I looked at Pesukone's profile I saw that it has more than 1.7 milIion monthly listeners. I found out that a lot of people are experiencing the same problems. Reddit user Ladieladieladie found out that all the songs are from the Finnish label ''Badenstock'' and reddit user Krosstout

found out the person who runs the label goes under the name of S Productions.

I have the exact same problem. Woke up to find my collaborative playlists ruined by multiple users. They keep adding the same music like pesukone, and other shitty artists.
What do i do??? Seems like spotify isn’t doing anything…

Hey mods this should be an open and shut case. Just search up “Pesukone” on spotify, and look at the playlist names. Yeah. Want even more proof from me? Look at the images. These mfkers added 47 songs to my playlist. These are vicious scammers that will do anything to get streams, take them off your platform NOW, or else I will deactivate my spotify subscription.

The same thing has happened to one of my collaborative playlists and one of my partner's collaborative playlists between yesterday and today. The same artists are to blame: Pesukone, Mizta Z, S productions, Empty Elevator, Munati, Drip Overkill. Surely these artists accounts need to be restricted or removed until the problem has been fixed? Seems like this has been an issue for at least the past three months according to some forums. I have already removed all songs so cannot link the pages to you. I went to report one but there was no option for spam.  My playlist had about 15 added songs, my partner's had about 35....

Everyone is posting Profile links to the Bots. If you check the Source for all of the artists, they all fall under "Badenstock". This producer seems to be at the root of Pesukone, Empty Elevator, Munatix, etc. This is the profile that needs to get popped for spamming us all.
