Desktop App text not rendering properly

My Question or Issue

The text in the desktop player isn't rendering correctly. It's rendering as white or grey blocks. I've tried a fresh install of the app twice and restarting my machine.

Thanks for reaching out. 

 

Does this happen only on the Mac OS Desktop app or on other devices too? How about the webplayer? If you haven't tested these things so far, please do so.

 

In the meantime, what did you mean by a "fresh install"? If you haven't performed a full clean reinstall as described here, then please do so. That managed to solve a not too dissimilar issue here

Removing the cache and doing a proper reinstall worked, thank you!
