I use a macbook air m2 and I have downloaded Spotify to it. But, when I try to resize my Spotify window, it's a bit laggy. Many suggests that disabling HA works, but when I look for the option HA in the settings, no option/setting is found. I wanna try to disable it maybe it'll fix the laggy resizing but can't. What should I do?

Hey @marshall6,
Thanks for checking. I will be looking into that setting and will get back to you.
In the meantime, can you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps if you haven’t?
Let me know how this goes!
Hey, Billy-J! I finally found the Hardware Acceleration option!
Help (in menu/top bar) > Trouble Shooting > Disable Hardware Acceleration and Restart
I already disabled it but it is still a bit laggy and I'll probably just ignore it from now on haha. Thank you tho for trying to help me resolve my concern. I appreciate it, bro!
Hey @marshall6, thanks for reaching out to the Community!
If this happens with other apps as well, can you try restarting your Mac? If it only happens with Spotify, you’re able to turn off Hardware Acceleration following these steps. If you try to locate it and can’t find it, can you send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing instead?
Keep me posted.
Hey @Billy-J, thanks for responding.
I tried to locate HA in my settings but its only up to the proxy settings. Even when I used the search bar and input Hardware Acceleration, still not found. As you can see in my screenshot I have already scrolled all the way at the bottom and the setting is only up to the proxy settings. Also, I have search in the settings and still the same results.

Hey @marshall6,
Thanks for sharing that information with me! I will raise this up with the Spotify teams so they can update relevant pages that may contain instructions from previous operating systems.
If you’ve tried a clean reinstall and it’s still happening - let me know and I’ll see what to suggest.
Keep me posted.
