Hide Spotify in Menu bar

Hi,

On windows there is (was?) the possibility to hide Spotify in the taskbar instead of having it as a classic window.
Would it be possible to add the same behavior on Mac and hide Spotify inside a Menubar icon?

I always have it playing in the background and manage it with keyboard shortcuts.

Having one window less in the application switcher would be really appreciated!
