Albums not Playing on Windows Desktop App

Albums not Playing on Windows Desktop App

On my Windows Desktop App, playlists work fine, but many albums, especially the recent ones I've "liked" won't play.  They play on the "Web", my laptop, and my phone, but NOT the Windows desktop.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled.  Nothing.  Please advise.

Thanks for posting in the Community and the troubleshooting already tried.

 

Could you try reinstalling the desktop app as described here? This is a more thorough way to do it and solves most common issues. 

 

Also try switching the download source of the app, e.g. from the Microsoft Store and the Spotify site.

 

Does the same experience occur with a different account?
