My Question or Issue

As of today, all of my devices suddenly can no longer connect to my Alexa devices. I have attempted on my HP laptop, my Macbook Pro and my iPhone 13. I can connect to other devices but Alexa is not working. I have tried disabling the Alexa skill and re-enabling it. It shows up in the list but when I click to connect, it just says connecting and then eventually times out or stops. It was working with no issues yesterday and suddenly this morning was no longer connecting. I have tried periodically throughout the day with no success.

Hi there @surfskittles,

Thanks for reaching out. Has anything changed on the network that all devices are connected to? Try resetting the router and connecting everything again. You can also try creating a hotspot with your phone, connecting all devices to that and then trying again to see if the issue occurs there too. Do you have any issues when using connect between other devices? For example, does it work if you try to control your Macbook from your iPhone via Connect?

Keep us posted.

So i actually found if I prompted Alexa to play a playlist of mine then it connected seamlessly. The connection seems to be hit or miss every few days but at least there is a workaround!
