Cannot listen to music: only Android App works

I just reinstalled the Desktop App from Microsoft Store, I can access but I am not able to play any song and all the playlists are empty. Morover, web player does not work, I can access but then I get an error (see attachment). I can succesfully use only Android App, this situation has been going on for a long time, months. Any clue on how to solve?

I had to change C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file removing the lines with spotify in the address and now everything works, both desktop app and web player.
