My Question or Issue
I was having problems with speakers disappearing from Spotify, so following the advice I read here, I decided to uninstall the Spotify app from my computer and then reinstall it. I've tried three times, and have even rebooted in between, but every time it hangs at 90% when attempting to install, and I get Windows error message Ox80073D05. Any advice?

Hi JohnS43,
Did you install this from the Windows app store, or from the standalone Spotify installer?
If you installed it from the Windows/Microsoft app store, try the following:
1. On the start menu, search for "Powershell" -- hit Windows key and start typing "power"
2. Right click the Powershell icon and select "Run as Administrator"
3. From the Powershell window, run the following command to re-register the app:
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name SpotifyAB.SpotifyMusic | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -Verbose}
If that doesn't work, try to just run the installer that you find on Spotify.com and not the app store one.

Thanks for your response! Method 1 didn't work (error message: Get-AppXPackage : Access is denied.
Access is denied.

But Method #2 was a success! However, I still have my original problem of certain speakers/groups not showing up. But I guess I will pose that issue elsewhere.
Thank you again.
Hey there @JohnS43,
Thanks for reaching out - help’s here!
We suggest you first try re-registering the Mail and Calendar apps on your PC. Simply perform these steps:
Close Windows PowerShell.
This manual adjustment of the Windows 10 settings should easily resolve the issue.
In case you still experience the same after performing these steps, you can go ahead and reach out to the Microsoft help here.
Hope you'll find this info useful. We'll look out for your reply!
I'm not sure what my calendar and mail apps (neither of which I even use) have to do with my Echo speakers. Can you please clarify?
OK, but as I mentioned, your second solution (install via the Spotify site) worked for that problem, so it's no longer an issue.
